Standards

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are a set of core understandings to prepare our students for success. 

Within the NGSS, there are three distinct dimensions to learning science that are combined to form each performance expectation.  Each dimension works with the other to help build cohesive understanding of science over time. 

The Social Justice Standards are a set of anchor standards and age-appropriate learning outcomes divided into four domains—identity, diversity, justice and action. Teachers can use them to guide curriculum development, and administrators can use them to make schools more just, equitable and safe.
